Our Intention

We support families in being happy, healthy and abundant

At Anna Pearce Healing & Learning, our three core intentions are to:

1. Support mothers on their journey

2. Create an empowering space for children to learn

3. Support the whole family's health and happiness

Steve is committed to ‘nurturing through nature’, by providing a stimulating, natural and supportive environment for all children to  develop and grow, in a truly holistic way. Steve has a strong love and respect for the natural environment and incorporates this with the children. He balances numerical and language intelligence with physical, naturalisit, artisitic, emotional and spiritual intelligence to ensure the children receive a rounded eduction. Steve is a qualified primary school and a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner and a member of The Forest School Association.

Healing Days (Wed, Thu)

Emma has been living and teaching the GAPS diet for the last few years and now supports families on their journey to understand how our food affects our emotions, our energy and our bodies. Focused around good gut health, Emma grows her own food biodynamically with the children, teaching them about healing the earth along the way, and creates healthy and nourishing meals whilst establishing positive habits and patterns around the children's relationship with food and nutrition.

Fun Friday

Cat is an actor entainer and brings joy and creativity to Fun Fridays. The children enjoy games, fun, music, drama, craft & outdoor play, all led by Cat. The focus is fun! It can be easy to lose our sense of fun as we grow older so we have created a very special space for the children to really let loose and feel joy and fun. Laughter reduces stress and anxiety levels, and boosts our immune system, which is all part of being happy and healthy.

Anna Pearce (Creator)

Anna's intention is to create a space where both the children and adults feel empowered, heard and nourished. She wants to create a community of pioneering beings that are in touch with themselves and the earth, who feel that anything is possible and feel strong in themselves.

Emma Goodwin (Healing Guide)

My intention is to seek and share remedial and curative therapies using using food as medicine whilst promoting regenerative agriculture, with the aim of healing individuals, communities and the biosphere.

Practicalities

When? Where?

Monday and Tuesday are learning days, Wednesday and Thursdays are healing days and Friday is Fun Friday. All take place in Forest Row. Children can join us for 1, 2 or 5 days a week.

Registered?

We are in the process of registering as an independent school and have connected with Ofsted who were happy with what we are creating.

How Much?

It feels important that we are accessible to everybody so we try to keep our fees low. It is £25 for one day, £50 for 2 days and £100 for a week. We also offer an exchange so if a financial contribution doesn't feel good, families can contribute their time, energy or expertise. I'm open to connecting to find an exchange that feels good to both parties.

Ages?

We are currently receiving 4-11 year olds but hope to extend to all ages (including GCSEs and A-Levels) in the near future.

Additional needs?

We are happy to receive children that are considered to have additional needs. However, whilst we register as an independent school, we are not allowed to receive children with an EHC plan or statement of SEN.

DRB checked? Insured? Safeguarding?

We have recently had a restructure so are in the process of updating all our DBS checks, first aid training and safeguarding/risk procedures. We have public liability insurance.
